妮妮来了 notifies you when the Douyin streamers you follow go live. Because that watching has to continue while your phone sleeps, it runs on our server rather than in the app — which means the app does send a small amount of information to us. This policy sets out exactly what, and what we do not collect.
1. What the app sends to our server
To deliver notifications we store, for each device: the Apple push notification token; a random device identifier generated on first launch; the list of streamers you have subscribed to; your quiet-hours window together with your time zone offset, so the window is applied in your local time; and whether you have enabled the wrap-up summary. The device identifier is a random value stored in the app's own preferences — it is not your Apple ID, your phone number, or any device serial number, and it is regenerated if you delete and reinstall the app.
2. Signing in with Apple is optional
Every feature works without an account. If you do choose Sign in with Apple, we store only the identifier Apple issues for this app and the display name you choose. We deliberately do not store your email address — including a private relay address — because we have no situation in which we would email you, and holding personal data we never use only creates risk. An account exists solely so that the streamers you added, the memes you submitted, and your likes follow you to a new phone.
3. Content you create in the app
Streamers you add yourself are stored on the server so they can be monitored, recorded against the identifier that added them, and shown only in your own list. Meme entries you submit are stored with your submission, held for review, and — once approved — published in the app's meme wiki for everyone to read. Likes are stored as a count per entry plus the identifier that liked it, so the same person isn't counted twice.
4. What we do not collect
妮妮来了 contains no advertising, no analytics or attribution SDKs, and no third-party trackers. It does not ask for or access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera, and it does not collect your email address. We do not sell or share any of your data, and nothing collected is used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
5. Streamer information and avatars
Live status, session times, profile bios, and avatars come from publicly visible pages on the streaming platform, fetched by our server — not by your phone. Avatars in particular are served through our server rather than linked directly, so that browsing the app does not expose your IP address to that platform.
6. Notifications
Notifications are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service, which necessarily receives the notification text and your device token in order to route it. A notification contains the streamer's name and the reason it was sent, and nothing else about you. If Apple reports that a token no longer belongs to an installed copy of the app, our server deletes that token and its subscriptions.
7. Data stored only on your device
Your alert history, hidden streamers, and cached avatars live on your phone. Hiding a streamer from the built-in roster is a local action and is never sent to the server.
8. Deleting your data
You can clear the alert log from Settings inside the app, and, if you signed in, delete your account from Settings › account, which removes the account and the data attached to it from the server. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored locally; your push token is then dropped from the server the next time a notification for it fails to deliver. To have anything else removed, email us at the address below.
9. Children's privacy
妮妮来了 is a general-audience app and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
